In ordder to defeat this darkness, we need an enlightened society. This society will come about not because one or two individuals have been somehow blessed with enlightenment. This society will come about when this enlightenment has become a worldwide phenomenon, when the possibility and the actuality of collective enlightenment have become accepted by humanity. Enlightenment must become a social movement that sweeps across the face of the Earth.
What is Enlightenment? Enlightenment means listening to the True Self that lies within. Like a butterfly within a withered cocoon, everyone has a wellspring of beautiful divinity inside. Belief in this divinity will imbue life itself with the wonderful aroma of peace and harmony. Everyone is like a flower, uniquely beautiful in full bloom, no matter what type or color or shape. when you meet this True Self, you will experience and absoulute happiness. It won’t be the relative happiness that comes from being richer or better-looking than others, but rather, the absolute happiness that comes from within, not bound by the needs and desires of the small “me-self.” It will be the absolute happiness that comes from the absolute knowledge that everything and everyone is One. It will be a knowledge that you will have personally and profoundly experienced.
