Ilchi Lee Educator Quotes About Earth Citizen

Fire and Water in my body.

Fire is fascinating to the human mind. One can stare endlessly into a campfire, watching its dancing orange fingers gyrate in the night air. It snaps and pops, consuming the log beneath. It seems somehow alive, yet without consciousness. When controlled, fire brings us warmth and life; when out-of-control it brings fear and destruction. Fortunately, humanity was given the ability to control fire. Because of this power, we can make the cold, inhospitable places of the world habitable. Fire also grants amazing powers of creation, powering the kiln that bakes a simple ceramic cup, as well the foundry that forges the steel beams of skyscrapers. In our everyday lives, we take this power for granted every time we fire up the furnace or turn on the stove.
